Thank you for signing our petition

Thank you for taking the time to support eBay’s campaign against online trade barriers.

We are absolutely thrilled to report that 750,000 Europeans have signed our petition so far, which includes over 250,000 of people like yourself from the UK. With the European Commission looking to reform the law in this area, you are sending an incredibly powerful message to European lawmakers that you want to be able to buy and sell freely online.

With the support of eBay sellers from the UK, Germany and France, we recently presented the results of the petition to the European Commission and to MEPs in Strasbourg. You can read more about our activities on our new Campaign for Consumer Choice website – where you can also find campaign videos to share with friends, as well as interviews with some of our sellers, key MEPs, and members of the eBay team. You can also follow us on Twitter to stay up to date with the campaign as the EU completes its revision of online trade law.

Finally, please do let us know if you are being personally affected by online trade barriers. We’ll continue to campaign on your behalf and pass on your comments to EU decision-makers to make sure your voice is heard loud and clear.

Thank you once again for your support. It really makes a difference.

Regards,

The eBay Team
